NCCU ART FESTIVAL
Chef Coordinator
Objective:
NCCU Art Festival aims to offer a cross disciplinary platform for students to create and define their own public art.
Abstract:
Programs included interactive installations, environmental theatre and cinema, and artisans’ market. In our environmental theater project, art works were scattered across the campus as plot scenes; a narrator brought together our performers and passerby, weaving a storyline throughout our three-week festival. Our cinema team projected movies on plaza, ceilings of classrooms and along the riverside; we celebrated craftsmanship by opening numerous workshops.
As chief coordinator, I co-curated the outline of all projects and supervised numerous teams, in order to make sure every piece of work and event correlate to the collective experience of students’ campus lives. I was also in charge of fundraising and pitching collaborative ideas so that our funds effectively helped the needs of our artists.
